Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Anna Gunn is a US actress. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before taking on film and television parts. Anna's debut part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. She continued to appear as an actor in handful of TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she was cast in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. Skyler was her role as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully is the Deadwood film, and other movies also featured her. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which released in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and eventual end resembles the last years of Walter White's story.
